The District 202 CAPE parent organization has postponed its 44th annual reception and awards ceremony because of concerns about COVID-19 (coronavirus).
The event was slated for March 24, 2020. It will be rescheduled.
CAPE (the committee for the Coordination of Administration and Parents Groups for Educational Efficiency) provides a direct connection to district administration, staff and elected officials for parents, taxpayers and community leaders.
The organization also serves as a forum for an open exchange of information, ideas and questions between each school's parent group and district leaders.
CAPE comprises district administrators, building principals, representatives of each school parent group, District 202 Board of Education members and district liaison officers.
