Students spent this week discussing how each of them play a part in ensuring Wesmere is a safe place for students to learn. Teachers revisited the schoolwide expectations and reminded students that

Flags will fly at half-staff until sunset on January 28, 2025 in honor of former President Jimmy Carter, who passed away Sunday. Flags were already at half-staff to honor Illinois State Police Trooper Clay Carns, who died in the line of duty on December 23. Flags are lowered for 30 days from the death of a President or former President.


Wesmere Elementary School students decorate homemade gingerbread men cookies with principal secretary Tammy Koz as a reward. Mrs. Koz made the cookies and frosting and helped students with their creations. #202proud
