Kindergarten Screening (Optional)

Incoming kindergarten families are invited to participate in our optional Kindergarten Screening. This opportunity allows our staff to get to know your child and helps us prepare for a successful start to the school year. Sign up here.
Popsicles with the Principals
Wednesday, August 5 | 5:00–6:00 PM Wesmere Playground
Join us for a fun, informal opportunity to meet school leaders, reconnect with friends, and kick off the new school year! All Wesmere students and families are invited to enjoy popsicles and spend time with the principals on the playground.
Teacher Assignments Posted
Thursday, August 6
Teacher assignments and class placements will be available for families to view. More information about how to access class assignments will be shared as the date approaches.
New Student Night
Monday, August 10 | 4:30–5:30 PM
Students entering 1st through 5th grade who are new to Wesmere or new to the district are invited to attend New Student Night. This event provides an opportunity for students and families to become familiar with the building, meet staff members, and learn more about our school community before the first day of school.
Kindergarten Curriculum Night
Tuesday, August 11 | 4:30–5:30 PM
Kindergarten families are invited to attend our Kindergarten Curriculum Night. We intentionally hold this event before the school year begins so families can learn about kindergarten routines, expectations, curriculum, and procedures before students start school. This event is designed specifically for kindergarten families.
First Day of School
